the basics...

Medicare Advantage Plans — also known as Part C Plans – are offered through private insurance carriers, and can be a great way to get additional health coverage. Depending on your medical needs, these plans may be able to lower your out-of-pocket health care costs.

All Medicare Advantage plans must offer benefits at least as good as Original Medicare. This means you still get Part A & Part B benefits, with little to no out-of-pocket costs and most plans include Part D prescription drug coverage, all in one convenient plan.

Many plans include additional benefits beyond Original Medicare like dental, vision and hearing coverage, transportation, fitness memberships, over- the-counter coverage and more. Don’t forget to review your medications coverage under Medicare Advantage as you may end up paying significantly more for the same medications from one plan to another.

Every situation is different.

We recommend meeting with a licensed agent to discuss your plan options.
